"We purchased our home in January of 2020 and Fran could not have been more knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and just plain great to work with. My husband and I looked at countless homes, and went to open houses for months before we found "the one." If Fran was not able to attend an open house with us, and something piqued our interest, he would schedule a private showing to take a look for himself. Fran's knowledge of general construction and home systems including heating systems, electrical, plumbing, etc, saved us thousands of dollars in saved home inspector fees. He was able to point out issues that he saw with the home, the ages of the systems and about how much more life they had left in them, and ballpark costs on repairs/new installs. These were all things that my husband and I had no concept of, and Fran's thorough knowledge of the home itself and not JUST things like the neighborhoods and school systems helped us to walk away from several homes, prior to an expensive home inspection. Fran's network of related professionals that you eventually may need includes an "actual" home inspector, specialized inspectors for things like chimneys, roofers, and a mortgage broker, you name it, he has them all and they were all excellent.
